The first step of losing 20 pounds in 2 weeks you have to do is to undergo a basic diet for fourteen days straight. Remember that you need to have discipline and stick to the diet meal plan for these fourteen days ahead otherwise, you will fail to reach your goal.

The first option, you can eat an egg white omelet with chopped tomato and spinach for breakfast. As an alternative, you can change the menu to mixed berries with honey and one cup of natural yogurt, or a glass of almond milk and one cup of whole-grain cereal.

As for lunch, you can consume a high-energy meal but still low in calories. You can have carrot sticks with celery and 2 hard-boiled eggs. On the other hand, you can also try one cup of chopped tomatoes and cucumber with four oz of roasted chicken breast. Cherry tomatoes and carrot sticks with four oz of lean turkey can also be another alternative for lunch.

Dinner in this kind of diet should be balanced. You can opt for one cup of steamed spinach and five oz of grilled salmon, or six oz of grilled chicken. Aside from the previous menus, you can also try a chopped salad with five to eight oz of roasted flank steak.

Daily Exercise

In order to be successful in losing 20 pounds in 2 weeks, you need to also pair the diet plan with a daily exercise routine. In the early morning before work, take your running shoes and run around your neighborhood or park for about thirty to forty minutes.

This kind of exercise is called cardio exercise and it is very effective in helping you lose weight quickly. In the evening after work, you can also do indoor exercises such as jump rope, sit-ups, or push-ups.
